If you’ve seen the online videos of all these amazing dishes prepared in a flash, you might very well have caught this recipe.
Quick, easy, pretty to look at and utterly delicious, this is as simple as it gets in the dessert category and you can pretty much whip this up anytime kids come over. You just need to keep frozen puff pastry in your freezer and a large chocolate bar. When SWEETTABLESCAPES made this, the result was INHALED in 5 minutes flat!!
1 sheet of thawed puff pastry
1 large chocolate bar
1 egg yolk and 1 TBsp water to make your eggwash
Defrost your puff pastry sheet
Choose a yummy bar of chocolate (we picked a 70% cocoa from our friends at Leonidas)
Place it in the center of the puff pastry sheet
Cut the side on an angle and flip and fold over the chocolate bar
Brush generously with eggwash
Bake at 350F until puffed up and golden, approximately 20 minutes
