Cordes- sur- Ciel (France):
This small fortified town of Cordes-Sur-Ciel (France) sits on top of a rocky outcrop and overlooks the Cerou valley in the countryside near Albi in the Midi Pyrenees. Climbing to the top on foot (no cars allowed) is quite a hike but the view well worth it.
The church offers a splendid rose window, houses have beautiful inner courtyards and sculpted facades but what fascinated SWEETTABLESCAPES were, of course the sugar sculptures at the Sugar Art Museum (Musee de l’Art du Sucre). Check these out!!
