Fondant Cookies

Here at SWEETTABLESCAPES, we always are looking for different ways to decorate cookies, techniques and looks that will make our table more attractive, interesting and well, let’s just say it…really special.

We are working on a new project (more on that in the fall) and we are experimenting with fondant, stamps and edible paint…

When making any shape cookies you can easily cut the same shape out of fondant to cover your cookie (stick the fondant on the cookie with a little apricot preserve). A fun way to decorate the fondant is to then imprint it with any stamp that might fit your theme.

Then, you can paint the imprint or simply use some glitter dust diluted in vodka (the vodka will evaporate. leaving a lovely glittery finish). Here it is:
