Edible Menorah??

December 7, 2010 § 1 Comment

For those of us celebrating Hannukah, here is a fun project to do while baking with your kids.

With basic sugar cookie dough, make nine candles that you will let the children decorate to their heart’s content. With a dab of icing that you’ll use as  glue, attach a toothpick to the back of each candle. Plant the candle into play dough, or clay, or marshmallows and put into your menorah or as we did for ours, use some pretty antique glasses as candlesticks.

How beautiful does this homemade menorah look? Even though you’ll eat it on the eighth night, next year, you can make a brand new one to match your new holiday decor!!! Enjoy!

SWEETTABLESCAPES wishes you a Happy Hannukah!
